The Model Remodel Show followed the progress of the 2017 Model Remodel project by Professional Remodeler magazine. The house was a 1930's hunting cabin that was largely torn down and replaced.

As remodeler Ben Bogie dug further into the old structure, he found more and more water damage, so it seemed quicker and cheaper to just knock down the old house and start clean with new construction.

The project is an excellent example of affordable energy efficiency and easy-to-achieve universal design principles.
