Sealing a home with AeroBarrier is as simple as this four-step process:
Step 1: Setup & Prep
- Cover finished horizontal surfaces
- Cover openings not to be sealed
- Set up equipment
Step 2: Pressurize & begin sealing
- Pressurize the space and
- Input your target ACH50
- Begin computer-controlled sealing
Step 3: Monitor & finish sealing
- Monitor alr sealing progress via laptop computer
- Progress is reported every 60 seconds via a continuous blower door test
- Verify target ACH50 is achieved
Step 4: Certify seal completion & cleanup
- The software generates envelope sealing report
- Remove protective coverings and equipment
- Construction work can resume within 30 minutes
